Inside Launch House: The Thriving Community for Entrepreneurs

Launch House recently announced the debut of its multimillion-dollar early-stage fund, House Capital. Their goal is to provide the best possible support for Silicon Valley startups. The prerequisite for receiving grant money is in the Launch House location – San Francisco, Palo Alto, or Los Angeles.

The company founders Brett Goldstein, Michael Houck, and Jacob Peters are its general partners. They intend to invest in early-stage companies within their community and external high-growth startups when appropriate. These early-stage companies often rely on seed funding when launching a new venture. The money these startups receive usually covers the development of their product or service, marketing, and operations.

Resources for the fund come from various channels, such as general partners at other funds and limited partners representing tech and entertainment companies. The fund will also raise funds from new investors as well as from past investors. Maximum investments will be up to $150,000 per deal. A portion of the returns will be invested into Launch House for greater program availability and perks like lifetime memberships for the funded companies’ founders.

Goldstein, Houck, and Peters have worked together for years within the startup scene. Their efforts led to the creation of Launch House, a residential startup incubator with facilities in San Francisco, Palo Alto, and Los Angeles. The company’s program is designed for early-stage startups – companies that are essentially starting up their sales or marketing channels. Specifically, founders must have a minimum viable product to be accepted into this community.

The company started in 2020 intending to house entrepreneurs for shared growth experiences but now operates under a membership fee model with additional resources available. The founders hope to inspire and support the next generation of entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley. One of the ways they plan to do so is by holding events and conferences.

They aim to move forward as a community, not just as a program. Launch House offers an environment where entrepreneurs can connect and meet other resources within the community.
