These, including DevOps support and Azure networking worldwide. He previously reported to the Server and Tools business unit at Microsoft Corp. Before joining Microsoft; Tom Keane spent 15 years with Dell Inc. in various engineering and leadership roles, including DevOps, networking, and product development.

One area where Microsoft Azure´s Cloud has seen significant traction is in national security applications. With Azure Government, a new cloud service led by Tom Keane, those in the government sector looking to develop and run high-security applications in the cloud can now do so with the most sophisticated security features available. 

 

As a State Department customer, Tom built the next generation of agency portals leveraging the features of Azure Government and, in addition, Microsoft Azure Compute. With its rich feature set and high level of security, the portal has been launched internally by Tom Keane. It is now being rolled out to government agencies around the country under a pilot program.
