A lot of people know Ben Roethlisberger from his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but not as many people are familiar with his philanthropic ventures. Ben Roethlisberger was raised in Findlay, OH, where he was a successful multi-sport athlete. He grew up close with his mother, father, and sister. It was during his senior year of high school that he decided he would continue his football career at the University of Miami, OH. After his college career, he was drafted to the Pittsburgh Steelers where he would play his entire career for 18 years.
