Gretchen Robinson is a popular name in the American legal department. Robinson started her successful career journey at the prestigious Queens District Attorney’s Office before joining Civilian Complaint Review Board. The respected attorney served in her first job for many years, and she acquired a lot of knowledge. At the second organization, Gretchen Robinson mostly handled administrative trials.

In 2015, the executive moved to the State Government. The government appointed her as the Compliance and Internal Controls Officer for the well-known Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation. When growing up, Robinson had an ordinary family.

Gretchen lived in Washington in her childhood, and she got interested in the law industry when she was young. The respected attorney acquired her Juris Doctor degree from an institution known as American University Washington College.

Robinson holds a bachelor’s degree in French and Anthropology too. The talented executive has been getting prestigious appointments in the government after serving in oral and trial advocacy for years. Robinson spoke about her career achievements recently.

During the interview, Gretchen explained that she was not the person behind Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation. According to her, RIOC is a public facility in New York State.

The primary role of the corporation is to operate, develop and maintain an excellent infrastructure for Roosevelt Island.

The departments must get the best legal advice to accomplish the corporation’s mission. On a typical working day, Robinson handles questions concerning contracts, labor and employment, legal research, procurement matters, licensing transactions, and any other legal issues arising from the corporation. As the head of the legal department, Robinson has to ensure that his team can remain creative and, at the same time, solve all the challenges the corporation is facing. The legal expert is fortunate to have an excellent team of experts to assist in handling the daily questions. The team works together on all the matters brought to its attention, which has brought a lot of growth in the corporation.
