Hassan Jameel is a Saudi businessman and philanthropist and the chairman and CEO of Midea Group and the Jameel Foundation

Hassan is also known for his contributions to finance and technology. In 1997, he was honored by Saudi Arabia with the King Abdulaziz Gold Medal for his outstanding achievements in IT innovation. For his contribution to the Arab World, he was recognized by the Arab League as one of the most successful business people in history. He is also known for being one of the first people in Saudi Arabia to adopt IT and e-commerce. He is often considered one of the trailblazers for introducing IT in Saudi Arabia, where most people were skeptical about its applications.

As an investor, he has co-invested with leading international companies such as Apple, Inc. and Dell, Inc. He has also invested in high-tech start-ups like Apple, Cisco, HP, and Dell. In addition to investing in these companies, he has provided financial support to venture capital funds such as ACME Capital and Accel Partners.

As an investor, Hassan Jameel has been active in technology since 1997 and is considered one of the most successful private investors in history. Forbes magazine has also recognized him as one of the world’s wealthiest men and is among Forbes’ Top 200 richest people in the Middle East region.

Hassan Jameel was born into a family of modest means, with limited ability for education for their children due to economic circumstances. Hassan was able to travel abroad for the first time at the age of 18. He has since traveled across five continents, with most of his travels centered on Africa.

On his return to Saudi Arabia, Hassan worked as a trader in Jeddah and Dammam. Later he moved to Riyadh, where he first worked as a marketing manager and later became deputy director of marketing at one of KSA’s leading companies – Al-Taleeqa Holding Group. After two years, Hassan embarked on his venture and founded Na’eem Atyia. At that time, Na’eem was a small company that sold IT products such as computers and accessories, local software copyrights, photocopiers, etc.
