Nick Millican Keeps His Eye On Rising Costs In The Housing Market In London
Nick Millican is a man who works for the people of London and the United Kingdom by trying to make sure they are well educated about the real estate sector in their country. Housing costs have continued to run rampant in all of the boroughs in London, which has made it harder and harder for the average worker to be able to afford a decent home.
There´s more concerning the real estate market. The price of housing has completely outstripped the amount that people are earning, but some boroughs are even costlier than others. Nick Millican has watched as salaries in some boroughs have dropped while housing costs have increased.
Dagenham and Barking are a couple of good examples of boroughs where this has taken place in greater proportions, but they aren’t the only ones. Nick Millican explains that someone looking for a home in East London generally needs to be making more than they are on average to be able to afford a home.
This is almost twice the amount needed when compared to 10 years prior. The amount of a deposit that would be required to buy a home for many East Londoners is completely out of their reach (Twitter).
Nick Millican wants people to know that Chelsea and Kensington saw huge price to salary ratio increases in the last 10 years; this has priced many people out of the market, which is very unfortunate. People in West London can expect to pay huge deposits as well for homes that they generally cannot afford given their current salaries.
