Gretchen Robinson hails from New Your city metro. She is the lawyer and Vice President of Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation.

Gretchen Robinson Career Development

She started her career in 2004 as an Assistant District Attorney in the Queens District Attorney’s Office. Here, she represented the interests of the New York people by prosecuting violent offenders. She also drafted motions and briefs, among other legal documents.

After years of work at the Queens District Attorney’s Office, she was moved to the Civilian Complaint Review Board. Here, she handled administrative trials within the Administrative Prosecution Unit. She prosecuted New York members charged with abuse of authority, discourtesy, misconduct, and offensive language. She has appeared in many courts, including New York Supreme Court.

In 2015, she joined the State government, becoming the Compliance & Internal Controls Officer for Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation. In 2018, she managed the Minority and Women’s Business Enterprise (MWBE) program. She has also served as the primary counsel for the Empire State Development Division of Minority and Women’s Development.

Gretchen Robinson supported and advised members on matters affecting the MWBE program. She also offered counseling on program compliance and represented appeal hearings, among other responsibilities. On top of that, she helped create MWBE program legislations, rules, and regulations.

Gretchen Robinson attended American University Washington College of Law and graduated with J.D Degree. She also pursued B.A in French and Anthropology from the University of Virginia. She has an average of 20 years of experience in the law industry.
