Why Amy’s Kitchen Has Become a Go-To For Organic Food Lovers
In recent years, more people have transitioned from normal food to healthier options, including vegan, vegetarian, and organic options. While many companies offer such foods, Amy’s Kitchen has become one of the most recognized across the United States.
It is a family-owned brand with headquarters in Petaluma, California, founded by Andy Berliner and his wife, Rachel Berliner, in 1987. They have additional production facilities in Sonoma County, California; Medford, Oregon; Santa Rosa, California; San Jose, California; Pocatello, Idaho; and Goshen, New York.
It has over 2,700 employees and offers over 250 organic and non-GMO food variations in over 23 countries and 43,000 stores. Clients can get light-in-sodium, Kosher DE, and Kosher D categories, plus tree nut, dairy, soy, corn, gluten, and lactose-free options.
As one of the primary producers and distributors of vegan foods across the united states, Amy’s Kitchen surveyed 2,000 participants to determine why more people opt for those food options. Most participants cited curiosity, love for the taste of vegan food, health reasons, and environmental conservation.
Among the participants were parents, and 61% said that while they love feeding their families healthy meals, they find it difficult to find good frozen foods that make the preparation easier and faster while maintaining the food’s nutrition. Amy’s Kitchen offered solutions from their food offerings, including Amy’s macaroni and cheese, Amy’s organic black bean veggie burgers, and Amy’s spinach Pizza.
They also launched new foods over the summer, and Paul Schiefer, the president, said the new releases are meant to help clients struggling with rising food prices and inflation.
Their releases include new family-pack items plus burrito multi-packs. According to Schiefer, the new big packs of frozen foods will help add value to customers while giving them tasty options for dinner or lunch.
Another way they are adding value to clients is through Amy’s Drive-thru. They have driven-thru locations in Corte Madera, San Francisco International Airport, Rohnert Park, Roseville, and a new location in Thousand Oaks coming soon.
These allow clients to enjoy their foods throughout their day or on the move. They have different operating hours, and clients can get burritos, salads, pizzas, and burgers.
