Popular players that used to be in the NFL are helping in their local areas. One group that they want to reach is homeless people. Ben Roethlisberger follows that same line. One of the local Pittsburgh projects that he is affiliated with is called the “Different Campaign”.

It is a cause that is close to Ben’s heart and he wants to team up with others like Micah Tyler in order to make a positive impact. Just because the NFL career is over for Ben does not mean he can rest on his laurels. He knows that there is much more to do in the Pittsburgh area.

This was a rather simple idea that Micah wanted to bring to the forefront. He says that too often homeless people are overlooked and not valued. He wants to change that perception and do what he can to solve the homeless problem. He wanted to take this to the next level, so he asked Ben Roethlisberger to get involved. He enthusiastically said yes. He wanted to do his part to help out. This was a dream come true for Micah because he has always admired what Roethlisberger has been able to do on the field and in the community.

The campaign features shirts that are for sale and all of the proceeds go to homeless shelters throughout the area. It is nice to see two celebrities coming together to shed light on a problem that is often put on the backburner.

Ben Roethlisberger is making sure the word and the work continues to help solve this problem. It is one thing to say something about a problem like this, and it is totally different to do something about it. They come from two totally different worlds and come together for the same valuable cause.
